Mr. Kuzmich received his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science from Texas A & M University in 1991. In 1994, he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Baylor University’s School of Law.
Mr. Kuzmich began practicing in 1994 as an insurance defense attorney with McLeod, Alexander, Powell & Apffel in Galveston. In 1996, he returned to his hometown of Lewisville to open his own practice. He has represented hundreds of Plaintiffs and Defendants in catastrophic and complex litigation matters. Mr. Kuzmich has tried numerous cases in Denton, Collin, Dallas, and Tarrant counties and is a certified mediator. He has obtained numerous significant recoveries for his clients.
Mr. Kuzmich is licensed to practice law before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Federal Districts of Texas, as well as State Courts of Texas.
Steve Kuzmich is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Denton Bar Association, and past president of the Denton County Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past President of the Denton County A & M Club. He is also a former board member of Denton County Friends of the Family. He is a past board member (2002 – 2014) and Chairman of the Board of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (2004-2006). Mr. Kuzmich has served as an adjunct professor of Torts and Personal Injury Law at North Central Texas College.
