Ms. Gordillo received an Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from North Central Texas College in 2000. Ms. Gordillo then attended Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Government in 2004. In 2009, Ms. Gordillo received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
Ms. Gordillo began her work in the legal field in May of 2000, when she was hired at the Kuzmich Law Firm as a paralegal. She later made the decision to go to law school, which she did while continuing to work as a paralegal with the firm. Being a paralegal for 10 years prior to becoming an attorney provides Ms. Gordillo with a unique perspective in handling her cases. For the past 17 years, Ms. Gordillo has enjoyed working at Kuzmich Law Firm helping her clients. Ms. Gordillo is bilingual, which gives her the ability to work closely with her Spanish speaking clients.
Ms. Gordillo is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before Texas State Courts. She is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Federal Claims. She is also a member of the Denton County Bar Association, Women and The Law Section of the Denton Bar, Flower Mound Bar Association, and Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Gordillo is also a past president and current vice president of the FMHS Air Force Support Group board.
