A Denton CASA Sporting Clay Shoot Fundraiser – 2017 Pulling for Kids

CASA Shoot 2017

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Denton County, Inc. is a volunteer-based non-profit organization serving the Denton County area. CASA volunteers are appointed by the court to serve as advocates for abused or neglected children removed from their homes by Child Protective Services (CPS). These volunteers investigate and monitor a child’s situation while in alternative or foster care, and then make a recommendation to the presiding judge as to what permanent placement would be in the best interest of the child. On May 12, 2017, Denton CASA hosted its 17th Annual Pulling for Kids fundraising event at the Dallas Gun Club in Lewisville, Texas. Over the years this event has raised over 1 million dollars for abused and neglected children. The team sporting clay tournament featured a morning and afternoon flight, dinner, awards and  a gun raffle. Our firm has supported Denton CASA through this annual event since its inception 17 years ago. We are again proud to have been a part of this event and thankful for the support that was received.
